ProjectYouthSA is a youth-led civil society organization dedicated to empowering young people to lead change in their communities and across South Africa. We advocate for accessible, quality education, youth employment, and active civic participation.
Through grassroots action, policy advocacy, and leadership development, we equip young people with the tools and platforms they need to shape a more just and inclusive society.
#KnowYourPower is a civic education campaign designed to help young people understand their rights, their role in democracy, and how to take action.
Through workshops, social media, and community events, the campaign breaks down key topics like voting, government accountability, current affairs, and activism, making civic knowledge accessible and engaging.
The goal is simple: to empower a generation of informed, active citizens who know their power and use it to drive change.
We champion youth voices through education advocacy, civic engagement and sustainable empowerment programs. Our key focus includes:
